The starting point for this year’s semester project will be the analysis of Swiss commercial centres. Our attention is directed to their context and their potential regarding a possible structural transformation and expansion. The cooperative, as a traditional legal model deeply rooted in Swiss society, forms the background for our research in order to extend the chosen cooperative supermarket by the communally oriented function of housing.
